Are you Having trouble writing a good advertisement?
As a Writer and self publisher of newsletters, novels, and role play gaming systems not only am I the content provider but I am also my own ad agency, web designer, and internet marketer. This has required me to learn how to create my own "ad copy," and where and how to get it seen on the internet and in print publications as well. I have noticed in the case of several list pages that I run that many affiliate linkers simply post links in raw Html format. This type of tactic will almost never generate a click other than a few curiosity clicks. Curiosity clicks have about a 1 in 100,000 chance of generating a sale and are vary low in number. Curiosity clicks mite come from 1 in every 10,000 site visitors which makes your odds of making a sale closer to 1 in 1,000,000.
What you want is targeted clicks from interested parties who have read your advertisement and gained interest in what your selling. A person who has read a well constructed to the point advertisement is much more likely to click your affiliate link and seriously consider product or service purchase. A well written ad can generate as much as 10 to 40% click through rate with an actual sales rate from 5 to 20%. Now 20% may seem like low sales however if the site you are advertisement on gets 10,000 hits a day and you get 10% or 1,000 clicks your 20% sales would be 200 sales a day. As you can see if you got, lets say $5 a sale, you would make $1,000 a day. To put that in perspective, with curiosity clicks you would make $5 in 100 days on the same website.
I know the above numbers are accurate from many years of trial and error, where I had adds that consisted of only a link that never generated a sale. You need to say something to your potential customers. You first need to grab the attention of web surfers who already have a need for or interest in what your selling. You than need to convince them you have the right and best product or service, and You must do all this with vary few words.
These are just a bit of what I have learned through the school of hard knocks over the years. If you would like to get more expert advice in the field Click Here!
