July 31-Aug.2, 2009 Carlsborg, WA Join us for our annual Archery and Rapier Championships, Heavy Arms Tourneys, and the challenges of Siege Cooking, Nature crafts, Best Tall Tale and the late night "Sheep War"! All of this on a groomed, park-like setting in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula. The site is primitive with no water. Please bring your own water & be prepared to pack out your trash. Pets are welcome but must be leashed & cleaned up after. Above ground fires only / subject to Forest Service burn status. We will provide burn ban status updates the week of the event. Potluck group dinner Saturday evening / please bring a donation to serve 10. Site is wet & great for evening bardic since the secluded location means no early noise restrictions. Turn right on Taylor Cutoff Rd. Follow Taylor Cutoff uphill approx. 2 1/2 miles. At fork stay to right onto Lost Mountain Rd, follow uphill approx. 2 1/2 miles. When you see the Dead End sign, turn left on Slab Camp Rd (Forest Service Rd 2870). Site will be in approx. 1/2 mile on the left. |
